Search for men detailed - Wreckage of plane studied

As the wreckage of an Amarillo-based plane was being taken to Dallas for inspection, authorities Tuesday described the methodical search for the bodies of the two men aboard the aircraft. The twin-engine Piper PA-30 crashed in inclement weather Thursday night, shortly before midnight. Texas Parks and Wildlife officials joined other search crews by 7 Friday morning to search for the bodies of 38-year-old Harvey Kinikin Jr. of Amarillo and his brother-in-law, Robert James Robinett, 48, of Sunray. Robinett's body was found Friday and Kinikin's on Sunday.

An investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board will look over the debris and tour the crash scene near Port Mansfield, south of Corpus Christi, before releasing any preliminary findings in about a week.
