DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT:  Aircraft ran off the end of the runway at Cedar Key, FL. The prop impacted wet sand and came to a sudden stop, bending only one blade.

DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGES:   Damage includes but may not be limited to the following:

  • Propeller is bent & engine experienced sudden stoppage
  • Nose gear has a kink in the strut
  • Nose wheel fork is bent
  • Lower cowl is cracked
