AIRCRAFT ON LANDING WENT OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY, BENTON AIRFIELD, REDDING, CALIFORNIA.
Firefighters are at Benton Airpark in Redding where a plane ran off the runway about 7:30 p.m. tonight.
The pilot refused medical treatment, according to scanner reports. The plane is upside down at the south end of the runway.
The pilot was the only occupant, according to Redding Fire Chief Gerry Gray. He was not injured and there was no fire, he said via Twitter.
